Written permission

As mentioned before on the blog, we are hoping to invite celebrities to our event. When researching on the Help for Heroes website, I found that the charity ask all events to write to them requesting written permission to contact the celebrities. This is something to bear in mind and leave time for when planning the event

Contacting Celebrities, Public Figures & Trusts

Please do not contact celebrities, public figures or Trusts without prior written permission from Help for Heroes. In some circumstances we have had several people contact the same individual, causing unnecessary distress whilst making Help for Heroes look unprofessional. Help for Heroes do not and cannot give you contact details of any celebrity or public figure, and it will be up to you to find these details if permission is granted.
